GebzePlant

Founded in 1961 for cylinder production, filling and delivery operations, Gazsan Likid Gaz Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. was separated into two parts, namely industrial and commercial divisions. As a result, the industry and production company Gazal Gaz Aletleri A.Ş. was formed. In 1964, industrial cylinder, valve and regulator production commenced followed by camping cylinder production in 1967. In 1975, the first cylinder export took place, and in 1991 Gazal moved from Yarimca to its new facilities in Gebze, becoming one of the most technologically advanced factories in the sector. In the same year, regulator production surpassed 1 million units annually.

As the bulk LPG market grew during the early 90’s, Gazal founded its tank factory in 1998 and reached an annual production of 4,500 tanks in 2000. In 2001, Aygaz A.S. and Gazal Gaz Aletleri A.S. merged after almost 40 years, and Gazal continued its operations under the Aygaz umbrella.

The facilities in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone occupy 52,000 square meters, of which 27,000 square meters are indoors. Operating with the most advanced technologies in the field, the Gebze Plant possesses the following certifications: ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environment, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health & Safety, ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction, ISO 50001 Energy, ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Certificates.

More than 700 product types, including 80 million cylinders, 40 thousand tanks and 150 million valves and regulators, produced by Aygaz since 1962, are being used in a total of 60 countries on four continents.

Cylinders

Aygaz LPG Cylinders are available in a wide range of sizes from 4.9 to 120 litres, and the following are just a few of the features that make them exceptionally durable and reliable are:

Domestic and Autogas Tanks

- Aygaz dished ends are manufactured on a high-capacity fully-automated production line using the highest quality materials and machined to exact tolerance.
- Precision and quality sheet plates cut longitudinally with the Variable Rake Hydraulic CNC Guillotine Shear.
- More precise, productive, versatile, faster and safer four plate roll bending machine. - Multi-piece body, automatically welded in a peripheral submerged arc welding machine monitoring by a camera system that can verify torch positions and wire feed orientation.
