Things that should be done in case of a gas leakage is detected or there is a smell of LPG:

• All acts that might cause ignition should be avoided (lighting matches or lighters, switching on or off electric switches, opening refrigerator doors).
• The room should be aired out by opening doors and windows.
• Valve or pressure regulator latch should be shut off.
• The pressure regulator should immediately be disconnected from the cylinder, and the cylinder should be taken out in the open air.
• The floor, hollow areas and corners should be swept up with a broom, and it should be ensured that the LPG settled on the floor due to it being heavier than the air is discharged into the open air.
• Authorized Aygaz dealer should be informed or Aygaz Service Line should be called at 444 4 999.
• Inhalation of LPG should be avoided since prolonged inhalation of LPG can cause throat and oral inflammation, coughing, nausea, headache, abdominal pain, vertigo, vomiting, faintness, blushing, tearing up and nasal drip.
• LPG burning devices should be installed and used in accordance with their operation manuals. As LPG burning devices use the oxygen in the air, sufficient air ventilation should be provided in the room when devices are in use. Otherwise, suffocation-related deaths may occur due to decreased amount of oxygen in the room. When above symptoms are observed in a person, that person should be taken out of the room. If it is not possible to take the person out of the room, the room should be ventilated and the person should be given artificial respiration and presented to a doctor.
• Skin contact with LPG should be avoided. Serious skin burns may occur due to cold burning. In such cases, a doctor should be consulted.
