Instructions For Use

Matters for consideration to ensure safety when using LPG cylinders;

• Full LPG cylinders should be bought from your authorized Aygaz dealer.
• Delivery of cylinders heavier than 2 kg to the site of use and their connection to the devices should under all circumstances be carried out by the authorized dealers or subsidiary dealers.
• The cylinder should carry the brand name of the company manufacturing the cylinders (Aygaz or Gazal), brand name of the distributor company (Aygaz) and TS 55” and “TSE” marks that indicate the cylinders have been produced in compliance with Turkish standards and the mark that indicates that the periodical inspection has been performed in compliance with “TS 5306” standards for the cylinders that require such inspection.
• The cylinder should have a warranty seal on the lid.
• Rusty, swollen, crushed, cut, unpainted, cracked, damaged etc. cylinders should not be used.
• The cylinder and its equipment (pressure regulator, hose) should have TSE certificates.
• The pressure regulator should in no way be tampered with and it should be protected against external factors such as snow, rain, dust, oil, or rust in order to ensure proper operation.
• The cylinders and their equipment should be used in accordance with the operation manuals so as to avoid risking the safety of life and property.
• The connection hose between the cylinder and the device should be in one piece and should not be longer than 1,5 meters.
• The hose should be connected to the pressure regulator and to the powered device by clamps, and hoses that are worn out, cracked, softened or hardened and that have been used for 3 years from the manufacturing date should be replaced.
• Inflammable materials such as paper, nylon, plastic, tulle fabric, curtains etc. should not be placed near the cooker.
• The cylinder should be placed in a vertical position lower than the LPG powered devices.
• The cylinder should not be exposed to direct sunlight and should be placed at least 2 meters away from heating radiators and 4 meters away from heaters such as stoves.
• In the event LPG powered devices are installed in a small room with limited ventilation, the room should be frequently ventilated.
• The cylinders should not be used in basements below the surface.
• In the event that the LPG cylinders that are in use or replacement LPGs are stored in closets, vent holes should be made underneath the closet door. The replacement cylinder should not be placed next to the cylinder in use. There should be at maximum one replacement cylinder in each home.
• Prior to connecting a new cylinder to LPG powered devices, any devices using flame heat nearby should be turned off.
• After the new cylinder has been connected to the device, seams should be checked for gas leakage by applying the soap bubble method. This check for leakage should under no circumstances be performed with open fire (i.e. with matches, lighters etc.).
• In the event of a leakage, the valve is shut off in flounced type cylinders with valves, and the latch of the pressure regulator is shut off in cylinders with joint lock, the pressure regulator is removed and the authorized dealer is informed.
• Cauldrons, pots etc. that have a diameter of more than 20 cm should not be placed on burning small cylinders.
• Excess air flow and spilling over of the cooking material extinguishes the flame of the device and causes accumulation of gas. In such cases, the valve of the device should be shut off first and then it should be ensured that the room is aired out and the accumulated gas is discharged by opening the windows and doors etc. The device should not be used before performing the above procedure.
• LPG cylinders and the accompanying devices should be removed from the places where people sleep before bed time. Pipeless stoves, camping lamps and stoves should not be left burning while sleeping.
