Beside its cylinder gas and direct carboy water sales, Akpa Dayanıklı Tüketim LPG ve Akaryakıt Ürünleri Pazarlama is also engaged in the fuel trade. With about half a century of experience in this field, Akpa is one of Turkey’s largest sales and marketing organizations in its field.
With Turkey’s largest LPG logistics operation, Aygaz carries out LPG marine transport using four ships: Kandilli, Kuleli, Kuzguncuk and Beylerbeyi. These ships are managed and operated by Anadoluhisarı Tankercilik, a fully owned subsidiary of Aygaz.
Recognizing the opportunities in the express shipping and delivery sector, which is fast evolving in line with the rapidly growing e-commerce and the economy, Aygaz conducts its Sendeo Cargo and Delivery operations, which started as an in-house entrepreneurship project in the search for a business model where Aygaz could use its existing dealer network and home delivery experience.
Operating in the natural gas market since 2004, Aygaz Doğal Gaz sells and delivers liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as selling natural gas acquired from the domestic market to users classified as eligible consumers through natural gas pipelines. The company’s vision for its operations is to become a diversified player in the natural gas market.
Opet Aygaz Gayrimenkul was founded as an equal partnership between Aygaz and Opet Petrolcülük in 2013. It purchases real estate in various regions of Turkey and manages or leases these properties as fuel or autogas sales stations.
Founded in 2006, Enerji Yatırımları owns 51% of the shares in Tüpraş, the largest industrial corporation in Turkey. Aygaz holds a 20% stake in Enerji Yatırımları. As the leading producer in Turkey’s refining industry, Tüpraş is engaged in refining, distribution and gasoline marine transportation. Tüpraş is the seventh largest oil refining company in Europe with an annual crude oil capacity of 28.1 million tons.
Pürsu, a Koç Group brand serving the bottled water industry since 2011 with more than 400 dealers in 38 provinces, is part of Bal Kaynak Su İthalat İhracat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a company that operates with two facilities in Uludağ and Nazilli, both ranking among Turkey’s most trusted natural water sources. Pürsu offers two trademarked brands to the consumers; Pürsu Elite from the springs in Uludağ, and Pürsu Premium, sourced from Nazilli.
In line with Aygaz’s international expansion strategy, a partnership agreement was signed with the Bangladesh-based United Enterprise & Co, one of the country's largest corporations, to supply, fill, and distribute LPG. 50-50 equal-management joint venture was incorporated as United Aygaz LPG Ltd. The objective of the new joint venture is to combine Aygaz's long years of industry expertise and United Enterprise's experience in the country to bring added value to the sector.
